We Are More Than You Think

Feb 28th
On Feb 28th we will be hosting a dance at Matheny-Withrow. T.J. Byrd will be our dj for the event (thanks Jr. for stepping up). We will be hosting the dance from 2:30-3:10. It would be great to have as many of you there to hang out & talk with the kids & get them dancing.
I'd also love to provide some healthy snacks for them while the dance is going on. Grapes, apples, baby carrots.....
Let me know if you'd be down with picking up something.
Have also talked to the principle about a hip hop healthy eating event sometime in the future also.
We need as many people there as we can get. Let me know if you can make it.

I have a lot of good news to pass along.
The principle is very excited about us wanting to adopt their school.
The would actually like us to have a group meeting with them about us becoming mentors. We'd have to be able to come in and meet with a student once a week at lunch time. This is a great chance to have a really positive effect on a kids life.
They would like us to help out with a school dance. Every month at the end of the month the kids get a special party. All we need is a dj & some clean tunes. If we could get that going for Feb 29th that's they day they have open for the dance.
Ronnie Kaszuk with Imagraphics & We Are More Than You Think, will be going into the school on Jan 24th to be a Mystery Motivator. He'll be doing a graffiti demo at to different times that afternoon.
Is anyone able to meet at Bar None at 8 pm next Monday (Jan 16th)?
