Our facilities include 4 dedicated computer labs and 3 research labs. The Computer Science Department was originally a part of the Mathematics Department. It became a separate department under Department Head Dr. Bruno Schmidt in the spring of 1984, with 7 faculty and 212 undergraduate majors. In 2017, we added a Master’s in Computer Science program.
