A day full of school visits today began at Morgan Park High School with the delivery of a journalism grant from Illinois Farm Bureau and the Farm Bureau. Executive Director Jeff Rogers and IPF Board member Linda Jones also got to see the first edition of the student newspaper, which was published 100 years ago on Sept. 26!

Had fun visiting journalism students at Morgan Park High School to deliver a journalism grant from Illinois Farm Bureau and the Foundation. They will purchase camera lenses to help in their work for the EMPEHI News student newspaper, which turns 100 years old next Tuesday! We and the student got to see the very first edition of the student newspaper this morning. So cool!
