A message from The Lock Doctor:

Please be aware of recent scammers acting as locksmiths in our area. This has been an ongoing nation wide issue, mostly in bigger cities, but has now trickled down to our town. I have spoken with many customers of mine that, unfortunately, used these companies prior to calling us. These scammers may bait you with a very appeasing quote over the phone, but upon arrival they will switch the price to an insanely high charge. These companies show up in unmarked vehicles and, just simply, don't look like they know what they are doing.

I know it's hard when you're locked out or lose your keys. I understand the panic and stress you feel, but this could make you very vulnerable, causing you to call a company that is not legitimate. Please don’t click and call the first locksmith that pulls up in your phone or computer search engine. There are only four registered and licensed locksmith companies in Springfield.
* The Lock Doctor,
* Dave's Locksmith Service,
* A1 Lock, and
* Starfleet.
These four companies are all vetted, licensed and insured.

Of course we would prefer you call us first 😉...
But, at this point I would rather see one of these other legitimate companies get your business than to see you get scammed.
