Springfield Animal Control is currently staffed by Animal Control Officer Austin. We handle all licensing for dogs that live within Springfield City limits as well as all enforcement and calls related to domesticated animals(Dogs & Cats). One of our primary tasks is handling complaints for barking dogs, dogs at large, and owners failing to remove their pet's waste matter.

Dog was returned to its owner.
Found dog, vicinity of 35th St/Main St about 7 am this morning. Very friendly, dog is wearing an olive green in color canvas collar with a City of Veneta and Greenhill tags. Dog is also microchipped. Owner info assoc with the MC is not answering their phone. Any owner info please contact SPD Animal Control at (541) 726-3634.
