Our ZG Worldwide Associate Pradyot Kar recently co-founded a digital twin startup (called TwinFab.ai) focused on semiconductor fabs (semiconductor fabrication plants). A digital twin is a virtual replica of a physical object, system, or process that uses real-time sensor data, AI, and simulation to mirror, analyze, and optimize its real-world counterpart.

Many manufacturers are investing in digital twin initiatives as AI and physics/science-based models converge to improve throughput, reduce waste, and increase productivity. The CHIPS Act is driving new semiconductor and advanced manufacturing capacity in the US, particularly in the Midwest, where there is a lot of momentum in this space. Pradyot would be happy to support any initiatives involving digital twins (strategy, architecture, data integration, modeling/simulation, and AI enablement).
