Day 558 of Construction
Fresh Gallery in Downtown Springfield gives updates on nearby construction.
Renee Jordan Creek project is moving along and the evidence showed up today from .
We got a new safety signal and I think they might be about to test something.
We are super excited to get our street back after 9 long months of closure.
Curbs and gutters have been poured. Gravel is filling in to prime for concrete. Pavers have been laid and retaining walls built.
They even planted some trees!!!
It's starting to take shape in a major way.
Stay tuned for progress updates 😁
Day 7
The best art sometimes happens by accident during Playtime.
Maybe it's because there is no pressure, and that allows our brains to be fully present.
Presence without expectation.
To be content to explore the creativity that lives within us is necessary for artists. Therefore, having time to play is a must.
Playtime is less frequent these days for me personally, which is weird because I spend at least 4 days of the week in an art gallery. One might think that I have the ability to play all day long with the supplies...
But if I did, then truly nothing else would ever get done. And paperwork doesn't complete itself, ya know!?!
Anywho, I've never really shared these with anyone, so you guys are getting the most exclusive previews ever in this little video. I hope you enjoy.
These are mostly watercolors and markers, with a bit of glitter gel pen thrown in for good measure.
DM for inquiries, commissions, and other custom projects.
The road outside of is blocked today, but it is because we got new pavement.
You can still get into this area by coming south on Boonville and using street parking.
Open today, Saturday May 9 until 4pm.
It's a bit dusty, but at least they're aren't jackhammering. 🤣🤣🤣
Hometown hero Tess Harper was here for a private tour with her brother, Ed Washam, who happens to be the feature exhibit for May.
