There is a way we all viewed being patriotic when we had so many examples of the people in the military who had fought for our country, specifically in the World Wars. Views of patriotism began to get challenged as we looked at Vietnam. And now we live in a country that is polarized.

What does patriotism look like now?

Maybe patriotism at its root is service. Service to our country was easy to see when men and women were in the military and fought for our country at the risk of their lives. The Artemis team spent several days orbiting the Earth and the Moon. They made it a point to share the wonder they experienced in their capsule they called "Integrity" as they held the earth from a different perspective.
