Unfortunately, this is exactly what happens when we suffer a concussion. This mild traumatic brain injury results in brain fog, headaches, nausea, and vomiting. 😵‍💫 𝗡𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗸.

Timing is everything when it comes to cervical decompression. If it’s done too early in the concussion treatment process it can do more harm than good. We work closely with each patient so that their concussion rehab is happens on their timeline and is as comfortable and effective as possible. 💪

Concussions can be traumatic. In fact, they are mild 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒋𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔. The goal of our concussion treatment will be to support a healthy spinal structure to allow the 🧠 and nervous system the opportunity to heal. 💪
