Some closings just hit different… and this one is definitely one I’ll never forget. ❤️🏡

I actually met these buyers in a Walmart parking lot while we were both charging our electric vehicles 😂⚡ We got to talking, I handed them my card, and a few months later they called me and said they were ready to start looking for a home.

From November to April, they WORKED for this. They pushed through every step of the process, worked hard to get pre-approved, stayed patient, stayed focused, and when we found the right home, they rolled up their sleeves and did whatever it took to make the deal happen. Painting, touch-ups, getting the home appraisal-ready… they gave this everything they had.

And yesterday, it all paid off. 🏡✨

As a realtor, there’s something incredibly fulfilling about helping someone become a homeowner for the very first time...but when it’s a US Veteran who truly wasn’t sure homeownership was even possible for him, it hits on a whole different level. Watching that become reality is exactly why I love what I do.

Now… let’s talk about how absolutely ON BRAND this closing day was for us 😂

Yesterday Springfield got hammered with horrible storms. Trees were down everywhere, power outages all over town… and a tree even fell on my house earlier that day. Because apparently chaos was the theme 😅

We arrived at The Title Center for closing and… no power. 😂

So there we were...sitting at a folding table in the hallway by the front door trying to use natural light to sign closing documents like pioneers. Honestly, it was so fitting for this transaction and we were all laughing through it.

And the BEST part? The SECOND we finished signing, the lights came back on. Every single one of us just busted out laughing because it was truly the perfect ending to this story.

What started in a Walmart parking lot ended with keys to a beautiful home, a successful closing, and new friendships I genuinely value so much. ❤️
