When we opened this year I took note of two things I heard over & over. One - Many people thanked us for being open. Yes, it was tough keeping the doors open after two years of ups and downs. It is so nice to see how much Morning Star means to a number of you. I hope to keep our dream a reality for some time - to bless people with a delicious lunch in a quaint setting in the “country” - a get-away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Second - I have heard so many people say that this is the first time they have been to Morning Star and many others who mention they have not been here for almost 20 years!

We started this year with a bang and high hopes that maybe things would be a little more normal. However, the last few weeks business has been very slow. If you appreciate our cafe and support small businesses, we hope you will come out and introduce frIends and family who have never been here before.

Thanks to all of you who have supported us for 23 years! Hope to see you for many more.
