Established by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Division of Special Education, this agency focuses on enhancing and developing th professional skills of Missouri educators and staff serving students who experience Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities.

Are you passionate about supporting students with autism and empowering educators? Join Project ACCESS at Missouri State University as an Autism Resource Specialist and make a meaningful impact across Missouri schools.

What You'll Do:

βœ… Consult with school teams serving students with autism and related developmental disabilities
βœ… Provide training, coaching, and professional development for educators
βœ… Support student assessment and special education eligibility processes
βœ… Develop resources and promote evidence-based autism practices and programming

Qualifications:
βœ” Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, ABA, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or a related field
βœ” 5+ years of experience working with individuals with autism
βœ” 2+ years of experience in an educational setting
βœ” Strong communication, training, and technology skills

πŸ“ Remote within Missouri (Kansas City, St. Louis, or Mid-Missouri region)
πŸ—“ First Review Date: July 31, 2026
✈️ Some statewide travel required
