In 1940, Paul Mueller and his partner Gordon Mann opened Mann and Mueller Heating and Sheet Metal Works. Their first employee was Joe White, who eventually became our Executive Vice President. During the initial lift of a new, oversized vessel, Alex and Graeme (Food & Beverage) observed a rigging configuration that differed from the plan. They paused the operation, recalculated the lift, and verified it was safe before allowing work to continue. Their technical expertise and commitment to doing the job correctly ensured the lift was done correctly and safely.
