See you there
Despite the rainy weather, we gathered under a small pavilion, listening to the sound of the rain as we practiced yoga together for a cause that truly matters. 💙
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, rolled out a mat, shared your energy, and generously donated to support our local dive team. Your presence made the morning so special.
And to those who couldn't attend but still sent a donation—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and generosity mean just as much.
It's a beautiful reminder that community isn't measured by the size of the event, but by the hearts of the people who show up and support one another. Together, we are helping our young dive coaches continue doing what they love.
Thank you all for being part of it. 🙏
Lower Back Twist w Yamuna ball
- students ask for this on a repeat!
✔️Lower back release
✔️Hip opener
✔️Abdominals stronger
✔️more space created between hips and ribs
One of my students, an avid golfer, always heads to the golf course after our Body Rolling class. She tells me she plays her best golf afterward because her body feels loose, connected, and ready to move. When the lower back and spine can rotate freely, the golf swing becomes smoother, more powerful, and more effortless.

✨️This is something I witness again and again: when we stop trying to change the body and start listening to it, the body responds. Not with force, but with release✨️
Today I placed a Yamuna ball just below my p***c bone and rested there for about five minutes. The first couple of minutes, my body resisted. There was tension, guarding, the urge to move away.
But instead of forcing anything, I softened my breath and stayed.
Little by little, everything began to melt.
✔️The hips softened.
✔️The legs released.
✔️The sacrum let go.
It felt as if my nervous system finally realized it was safe.
🦋Afterward, I felt deeply grounded. My legs felt longer. My pelvis felt more balanced. There was a sense of ease flowing through my whole body.
Sometimes healing isn't about doing more.
Sometimes it's about creating the conditions for the body to let go on its own.
Slow down.
Breathe.
Support yourself.
♥️The body knows the way home♥️
Last night's yoga class was one of those evenings that reminds me why I teach.
Five people showed up. The weather was perfect—a gentle breeze, soft evening light, fresh air, and birds singing around us.
For 75 minutes, we stepped away from the noise and rush of daily life and returned to something much simpler: awareness, conscious breathing, mindful movement, and deep relaxation.
There was no need to force anything. We moved, breathed, listened, and allowed ourselves to be fully present.
As we rested at the end of class, surrounded by nature, I was reminded that healing doesn't always happen through doing more. Sometimes it happens when we slow down enough to notice what is already here.
Grateful for everyone who joined me and shared this beautiful evening outdoors.

✨️But often a safe space is the place where you can finally feel what you've been avoiding. A place where you don't have to perform, fix, achieve, or be anyone other than yourself✨️
✨️Safe enough to feel the sadness, fear, anger, grief, joy, or uncertainty that you've been carrying✨️
For me, that place isn't only my yoga mat.
🌳It's deep in the woods, near water, my back deck on a quiet morning ....
A safe space is a place where you can simply be.
✔️Where your nervous system can soften.
✔️Where you don't have to earn your worth.
✔️Where you can hear yourself again.
✔️Maybe your safe space is a yoga mat.
✔️Maybe it's a forest trail.
Maybe it's sitting by a lake, a favorite chair, or a conversation with someone who truly sees you.
