We create opportunities for enrichment and academic improvement for at vulnerable youths that are not otherwise available. JGI started an after school program September 2013, which is in currently serving nearly 80 underprivileged elementary children in Monrovia, Liberia. Participants in the program are between the ages of 5–12 years old. The goal of the program is to provide our participants with healthy daily snacks and a safe, fun educational. The program is providing the right opportunities for academic improvement that is not possible to achieve during the regular school day given the limited resources in most disadvantaged schools in Liberia.
