Cottage Rose Collectibles
Thrift & Consignment Store
07/30/2020
Hello there! We have some exciting news! Cottage Rose Collectibles will open again finally!! Because of the expensive rent at our former space, we had to close the store. But fortunately we were able to work something out, and have moved across the street to 1940 S. Stewart! It's a smaller space, but it's very nice! A longtime customer of our store, Christina, will be "running" the store for us, but all the proceeds will go to our same rescue & furbabies at New Leash on Life! Christina is buying our inventory, whiich will be a big help to us until New Leash on Life can open a new store in Branson; but it looks like it may be Spring of 2021. So, the store name will still be Cottage Rose Collectibles and all proceeds for awhile will still go to help suppprt the rescue; but the location is across Stewart St., to the east. After Christina has purchased the inventory, we will re-post. There will also be a name change AFTER all of that has been completed. We will still be able to give you a Charitable Contribution form from New Leash on Life, since the proceeds will still be given to the rescue - until further notice! OPENING DAY WILL BE THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st at 10:00 a.m. Please stop by and look around!!!!!

Hello!! The volunteers and I at Cottage Rose Collectibles would like to THANK all of our wonderful customers and FRIENDS who came in to our store during our last week!!! It was a bittersweet week, with a lot of laughter and a lot of tears! We appreciated you spending some time with us and purchasing items so that we can continue to care for our precious furbabies. Yes, we did have to close our store, BUT the great news is that a lovely lady from Springfield has purchased our inventory, so she will continue with the store at least until the end of June!!!!! I am so excited because we plan to help her get started with the business until the end of this month!!! So.........the inventory right now will be the same as when we had the store, with more items added every few days!! PLEASE plan to visit the store; same place, during the next few weeks!! I will be working on Thursdays through the end of June to help with sales and transition. I am very excited about this!!! Also, the lady who purchased the inventory will soon be a non-profit as well!! More details will follow!! Christine loves animals, but she also has a heart for many groups of people! She is super excited to get started and meet all of you!! Due to the transition, the store will be open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (10 -4) (Sat. 10 - 3) for awhile; and we will again, update you as we have more information!!! I can't wait to see you and for you to meet Christine! Hope to see you this week!!!!!!!

The Volunteers and Staff at Cottage Rose Collectibles are hoping you and you family and friends are all safe and healthy. This has been such a difficult time for everyone. This is week 2 of Cottage Rose being closed.......in order to help keep our wonderful customers and volunteers safe. It is very difficult for us to be closed, as we love our customers AND our store!! During the next few weeks, we will be posting items on Facebook Marketplace and possibly on this site if I can get someone to assist me with this endeavor (I'm rather techno-delayed!). As most of you know, 100% of our sales go directly to buy dog food and pay veterinary bills for our animal rescue & sanctuary, New Leash on Life. Although the store sales do not cover all of our expenses, it does help. Please watch for items for sale on this page, or look for items on Facebook Marketplace.......so we may continue to earn money so the dogs continue to live a healthy and happy lifestyle. We will never neglect or deprive ANY of our precious furbabies the things they need......but it is just so much easier on my family and our other volunteers and their families if we can at least cover the cost of our dog food each month. Weekly dog food expenses alone are $245.00. If you would like to make a small donation during this difficult time, please feel free to let us know and we will make arrangements. I have never been a type of person to ask for monetary donations, but any, even a small donation, would help immensely! Our store is our only source of income for the rescue.
Again, we wanted to let you know we are thinking about all of our customers and wish you the best! Stay home.......Stay safe! We will post more information and let you know when we will re-open. Thank you and God Bless everyone!
We would like to thank all of our loyal (and new) customers for shopping at Cottage Rose Collectibles! Our hope and prayer is that you and your loved ones are all safe and healthy during this difficult time. We were open Tuesday & Wednesday (March 17th & 18th), and appreciate the business! Kudos to Village Inn for stopping by and giving one of our volunteers a free pie!! We have talked amongst the Cottage Rose & Rescue volunteers, and have decided to temporarily close the store for the remainder of this week; March 19th, 20th and 21st. We will make a decision regarding next week and post the information as soon as we can. As most of you know, ALL proceeds from the store go directly to help feed and care for the precious furbabies in our care. We are concerned about obtaining dog food without this income, as many others are whose stores and restaurants have had to temporarily close. If you could possibly make even a small donation, it would be greatly appreciated!! You may contact me at: 417-343-4382 (call or text) or make a deposit under "New Leash on Life" at State Bank of Southwest Mo in Springfield (Sunshine, close to Hwy. 65). If you do make a donation, please leave your name and number so we can send you a Charitable Contribution sheet and card. We truly need and greatly appreciate you helping us to help the precious dogs and cats in our care! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!
