We do not have any news about World TeamTennis, other than, sadly, there is no season taking place in July.
But we do have news about Marcelo Arevalo ATP and Jean-Julian Rojer, who have cleared Round 3 at Roland-Garros today! Last year, this duo won Menβs Doubles at the French Open!
Defending Champs Arevalo/Rojer Charge On At Roland Garros | ATP Tour | Tennis Defending Roland Garros champions Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Rojer cruised into the third round in Paris on Thursday with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Nicolas Barrientos and Robert Galloway.

Springfield Lasers update:
Since 1996, Wimbledon and the month of July have signaled the start of the Springfield Lasers World TeamTennis season. Unfortunately, Springfield will not see the return of the Lasers this month. While World TeamTennis has made no official announcement, there is currently no 2022 season scheduled for Springfield or the other teams in the WTT league.
The Springfield Lasers and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board appreciate the outpouring of interest and support for our hometown team, winners of the WTT Championship in 2018 and 2019, and runners-up in the 2021 season, played last November in Indian Wells, California.
We remain in contact with longtime Coach John-Laffnie De Jager and we continue to follow our recent players as they appear in tournaments around the world, including multi-year team member Jean-Julien Rojer and 2021 team member Marcelo Arevalo ATP, who partnered to win the Menβs Doubles title at the2022 ROLAND-GARROS French Open.
It is our sincerest hope to bring Lasers tennis back to Cooper Tennis Complex in the summer of 2023.
