• Move them to safety only if it’s safe to do so
• Approach carefully, as pain and fear can cause even the sweetest pets to react unexpectedly
• Keep them as still as possible and minimize movement
• Apply gentle pressure to active bleeding, if present
• Contact a veterinary team right away for guidance and urgent care evaluation

Beginning May 12th, Emergency Veterinary Hospital will partner with Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency + Referral to provide weekly neurology services. This effort will be led by Dr. Megan Steele, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology), and Dr. Molly Kelley, DVM, MSc, bringing advanced neurologic care closer to home for pets in our community.
