lies for Children (SFFC) was born. In 2003, SFFC founder, Dave Anderson, found that if loving families can provide a safe and caring environment for a child at critical times, we can not only prevent harm to children, but we can enhance a parent's ability to provide what that child needs. Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is a national movement of compassion that gives hope to families in crisis. A network of volunteers provide safe, loving homes for parents to voluntarily have their children cared for while they restore stability in their own lives. Our dedication to family support, stabilization, and child abuse prevention is driven by responsibility for the well-being of children in our communities. SFFC partners with churches, local community agencies, volunteer families as well as government organizations across the country. The SFFC network provides essential extended family-like relationships to nearly 1,000 children and families annually.
