It was the first restaurant on north Dirksen Parkway in a totally industrial area, surrounded by cornfields. Since then the area has grown to include a Super Walmart, Lowes, Menards, Big R, and 18 other restaurants. Parkway Cafe has become a local favorite, as well as a favorite for travelers up and down I-55 between Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MO; many of which are stopping by to see the newest ad
