Another Starriors inspired image. For this picture I have the leader of the Protectors, Hotshot. Plus I included one of the smaller wind-ups called Nipper.

Starriors

In 1984 Tomy released Starriors, a robot toyline. The figures had wind up weapons and interchangeable parts. For this homage I choose to paint 3 of the Protectors robots in battle. From top to bottom they are: Hotshot, Cut-Up and Crank.

Iron Maiden - Eddie

The Iron Maiden covers by Derek Riggs were all great. The "Somewhere in Time" in particular always blew my mind with the sci-fi aspect and all the hidden details. So here is my homage to maiden's Eddie. Rock on!
