Today, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We remember and celebrate the heroes whose courage and dedication gave us the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We are especially grateful to the veterans, residents, families, and staff members who have served our nation with pride. This Memorial Day, we pause to reflect, remember, and give thanks.

Spring Valley staff put on their Baker’s Hats to show off their best Chocolate Chip Cookie’s for sampling. There were a total of 10 entries but only 3 could be the "Best of the Best". Thank you everyone for participating. Staff and residents enjoyed the cookies and look forward to the next competition.

Day # 4 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week is Farm & Western Day. Our maintenance crew spent over 13 hours smoking pulled pork for residents and staff to enjoy. Residents spent the afternoon with our little furry friends (chickens we recently hatched)!

At our Spring Valley Farm, we played horse shoe and our own ornamental chicken race game. We all reminisced with samples of apple butter. Everyone had a "Yee Haw" good time!
