Hey, Springfield, MO! We have some exciting news for you: Biz 417 is hosting us for a full day leadership development event!
Management is hard. Managing people has become more and more difficult as multiple generations remain in the workforce. Throw in a global pandemic that changed the way we all work and it is clear that managers are juggling more than ever before. At People Centric, we recognized that most managers are promoted because they are good at their jobs, but then were given very little training about how to be an effective manager. Our full day Emerging Leaders Symposium, brought to you by Biz 417, brings new and seasoned managers together to walk through the responsibilities and challenges of management and equip leaders with relevant and useful information that can be used right away! Join us and discover how effective managers lead and motivate people to create workplaces where people are happier, healthier, aligned, and empowered.
Our expert speakers, Matt Griswold and Don Harkey will be facilitating on **Feb 27 from 8 AM to 4 PM**. Register now because spots are limited! Registration Link and Link to More Information in the comments👇

We have all been afraid. We have all had fears. Let's tackle them together - what advice would you give someone trying to or struggling to face their fear(s)?
Our advice. To start, fear is not a space you want to be in for too long, so change your mindset from 'this is scary to this is a challenge that I can handle'. Most growth happens when we are uncomfortable. Conquering the emotions that stem from fear and remembering that growth is one of the results can be a powerful motivator.
What else?
- You aren't alone. Find a coach, mentor, or friend to help guide you.
- We often fear what we don't understand. Educate yourself... knowledge is power.
- Ask. Where does this fear come from? What is it that you're really afraid of?
- Lean into it. Count to 5 and just go for it. The answer may be no. The result may not be exactly as you expected. But, the scarier option may be never knowing, never trying, or leaving that fear unanswered.
