The Knights of Columbus will debut its Sarpy County Fair Food Booth addition in 2.5 weeks.

Jerry Kessler coordinated the 90-square-foot project. This addition creates added kitchen and storage space.

🎓 Sunday Senior Spotlight

Congratulations to Elijah Turco, recipient of a $1,000 Knights of Columbus Scholarship.

Elijah, the son of Jim and Lara Turco of Springfield, graduated from Platteview High School in May. During his time at Platteview, Elijah was a four-year member of the trapshooting team and three-year member of the National Honor Society.

Elijah also gave back to his community as a volunteer for the blood drive and concession stand and assisted at Youth Track and Field Day.

Beyond the classroom, Elijah has been an active volunteer for the Knights of Columbus Sarpy County Fair Food Booth, which stays true to the service values that define the Knights.

This fall, Elijah heads to Chadron State College to pursue a degree in public health. We have no doubt his dedication to service and community will carry him far.
