We danced, strutted the red carpet, did cartwheels, shared stories of hope, and raised $256,235 for the families at Baystate Children’s Hospital.

Here’s a look back at some of our favorite 94.7 WMAS - Springfield, MA Radiothon moments! 🌟

As we close out this year’s radiothon, we reflect on Eislyn’s legacy and the many brave young patients who have been gained their wings due to serious illness.

Eislyn Rose O’Brien was diagnosed with a rare form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in November 2019, shortly after her first birthday. She faced five rounds of high-dose chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Sadly, despite these efforts, she relapsed within 20 days.

In July 2020, her parents received the heartbreaking news that her condition was terminal. They chose to leave the hospital and fill Eislyn’s final months with as many beautiful moments as possible.

On October 9, 2020, Eislyn gained her wings.

Her mother, Chelsea, continues to share her story, honoring her memory and raising awareness for other children battling illness.
