Selecting a car seat by parameters
Before you start looking, you should refer to the classification of child car seats by groups and, based on the main parameters (weight, height, age of the child), correctly determine the category and proceed to the selection of the seat by external characteristics.
According to the world's generally accepted classification of child car seats, all models are divided into a number of groups depending on the weight and height of the child:
Group 0 - for babies up to 6 months old and weighing up to 10 kg.
Group 0+ - for children up to 1 year of age, weighing up to 13 kg.
Group 1 - for children aged 9 months to 4 years, weighing 9-18 kg.
Group 2 - for children aged 3 to 7 years, weighing 15-25 kg.
Group 3 - for children aged 6-12 years, whose weight does not exceed 36 kg.
