We need volunteers badly. If you can not volunteer please let people know about our Thrift store at 738 North Limestone st. Springfield. Open wed three to six and sat ten to two.

We will be accepting donations of new and used home goods, clothing and other items. Please let us know if you would like to donate to help the animals in our area.

I hate asking for donations with a passion. But.... for a starving cat or dog I will do whatever it takes. There are so many ways to help. Be an ambassitor and tell people about the nonprofit org. that help animals, pass out flyers, deliver food, make a donation, donate your pets unused items, pray and that should be number one.

There is a sweet 1 yr. old shepard in springfield with severe mange and emancipated worse than i have ever seen. I am not sure how to help cause treatment can be 350-1000 and i just don't have it. Mange is contageous to other dogs too and I have 4. I can provide the owner with food but the owner has some special needs and i am not sure they know how to take care of this doggie. If anyone has any ideas let me know. They have tried all the shelters and other organizations. I am guessing they will not take it due to the mange ???? Please advise or this little girl will perish.
