Well I wasn't planning on raising winter birds this year. And yet here we are 🤣
One last hatch by special request. Surprised ourselves with (finally) a nice chick from our black hen who typically lays unhatchable eggs. Decided to hold back eight chicks for ourselves including the black chick, but may end up with many more as it seems the special request has fallen through. Ended up dividing them into two brooders..they were SOooooo overcrowded! So winter birds it is 🙃
Should we require a non-refundable deposit for special request hatches?
