After much consideration, I want to share that 2025 will be the final year of Good Heart Tattoos operating at 414 E. Monroe. When I opened this space in 2019, I couldn’t have imagined the community that would grow here. The artists, clients, and friends who’ve passed through these doors have shaped not only the shop, but my life. As life evolves, the work evolves too. Since marrying my wife, Jordan, and building a life together, we’ve been working toward a shared studio where our crafts can live side by side. I’m excited to move Good Heart into a new chapter — one that’s more intentional and focused on the work and the people involved. Starting in the new year, Good Heart Tattoos will operate by appointment or call-in only from a smaller studio setting, shared with Jordan Minder Photography. This model allows me to spend more focused time with each client, while Jordan continues her tintype and photography work in our shared space. If you’re currently scheduled through January 9, your appointment will still take place at the Monroe location. After that, I’ll be reaching out directly to coordinate sessions at the new studio. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this chapter. I’m grateful for it — and excited for what’s ahead. — Benny
