The holidays are here! One of the best times of year for FOOD SCIENCE. Mixing all sorts of ingredients to make delicious treats of all kinds. What's a special food your family eats at this time of the year? I love charcuterie boards and Christmas candies! Candymaking is a whole world of science all by itself, working with high temperatures and precise measurements to create something brand new! Charcuterie boards also have amazing science all sliced up and ready to eat! Fermentation and salt cured foods use chemistry and bacteria to change the texture, taste and stability of food! Howdy Everyone! I'm ginormously excited to announce Science with Suz! I'm taking flight on an excursion to create Edu-taining Events for Everyone by creating a scientifically, terrifically fun environment for people of all ages to explore the world of science!
Here in Springfield and the surrounding area, you can book me to host your gathering. You bring the people and the place, I'll bring the curiously fun, informative, mad science filled, edutainment! If you have kids who love unearthing fossils, teenagers who are interested in conservation, or colleagues that need a unique break from their routine, I have a theme party for you.
There will be more information about how you can book your next event with me, Suz, coming very soon! I'm bombastically thrilled to share!
For now, catch me at VisionCon in Springfield in the Vision Kids event space Friday Oct. 13th at 4:30 pm for Science with Suz and Saturday Oct. 14 th at 10:30 am for Speak Up with Suz!
