It's a pavlova, but there are no egg whites involved here. 🐣
If you've never heard of aquafaba, allow me to explain. Aquafaba translates to "bean water," and that's exactly what it is! It is the liquid that is found in any can of beans, but we specifically use chickpeas because of they're neutral flavor. It whips up just the same as egg whites, without all the added harm to hens and chicks that comes from the egg industry. Grab some next time you're in the store and give it a try. I thrive on hearing someone's personal requests, and then taking it to another level. For example, I was asked to create something pink and purple with butterflies. So what I came up with, is this cotton candy flavored pink and purple marble cake, pink lemon[ade] curd, blueberry jam filling and cotton candy buttercream, all made from scratch of course.
