We're thrilled to announce that thanks to your efforts, we've been able to place our restock orders and will have everything in hand by May, just in time for Pride sales! Your support has made it possible for us to continue doing what we love, and we're honored to have such an amazing community behind us.

I wanted to share a quick update and invite you to be part of something important for Own Your Pride.

The past couple of years have thrown us a few unexpected curveballs, a flood that destroyed thousands in inventory, apparently unconstitutional tariffs that dramatically increased our restocking costs last year, and, last fall, a house fire that wiped out even more inventory. On top of that, the repairs and insurance costs that followed drained the funds I normally use to prepare inventory for Pride season.

To help us recover, I’ve launched a limited “Support the Restock” preorder, new sticker packs, and a restock-support gift card sale to help fund the next production run of flags, fans, stickers, and other Pride gear before Pride Month. If you’ve shopped with Own Your Pride before, you know how important Pride season is for the business.

Taking down a flag does not erase our history. But it does remind us why we cannot rely solely on governments to tell it.

The Stonewall Inn is privately owned and independently operated. We are not affiliated with the federal government and we will never lower our flag or stop protecting our history.

The Stonewall National Monument was established to honor the origins of the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. When symbols directly tied to that history are removed, it raises serious concerns about how our story is being stewarded.

LGBTQ+ history has too often been minimized, sanitized, or erased from official narratives. That is why the Stonewall Inn continues to stand as living history, protected and carried forward by the community itself.

The Pride flag at The Stonewall monument is not partisan. It is historical. We believe it should be restored.

That is why our history will never be erased-and at the Stonewall Inn, all flags representing our community will always continue to fly.
