Global Shout

Happy and happy !

Our team at Global Shout has been spending the past three weeks registering nearly 100 of our Afghan refugee beneficaries for our upcoming 8 in-person English classes around the Northern Virginia metropolitan area, up from 2 in the spring! In partnership with the Literary Council of Northern Virginia, we are funding all of their education for beginner, intermediate, and advanced English classes, that will lead to next level classes in the Fall, as well as better job and educational opportunities down the road to help them avoid food and housing insecurity as government funding dwindles further as their plight garners less and less national attention.

We believe education is the key, and are putting our money where our mouth is. The marathon of refugee life needs the continued support of many, and we promise to leave no man or woman behind. We have faith in the abilities of all our students and wish them good luck in their first ever summer school!
