You may not understand all the how’s and why’s of God, but you can depend on His grace in your life. This is what Paul describes when he writes, “We have depended on God’s grace, not on our own human wisdom” (2 Corinthians 1:12).
You may feel the grace you have is just not enough. You still feel such a heavy burden, and yet we have this promise from Scripture: “To each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it” (Ephesians 4:7).
Oh, dear one, the grace you have is the grace you need. God didn’t give more to someone else and shortchange you. He gives each of us what we need. So rather than dwelling on your own insufficiency, dwell on His sufficient grace. Your skill, energy, mindset, or ability may not be enough. That’s okay. God’s grace is sufficient.
Ask God to carry you as you carry your burden. Ask God to hold you up as you hold up another. In your weakness, His strength will be made perfect. You will never know how sufficient His grace is if you don’t tap into it.
