The intention of the UIS Campus Community Garden is to serve as a model of sustainability, to build community by providing a shared space for students and faculty to come together, to provide hands-on learning opportunities, to promote UIS by demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and student involvement opportunities, and to provide local food for campus dining.

Last Wednesday's work night was a success! Great conversation with new people, some plant maintenance, and we were blessed by the company of this sweet dog 🐶

The radishes finally came in! We almost pulled them all because we thought they weren't going to produce anything, thankfully, all we had to do was wait another week. Patience is key!
