Our skill at leading groups to the consensus needed to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of a task, project, or program has been recognized by the InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS). Biometrics Guru LLC is a recognized member of the biometric and forensic standards development community, having served as Deputy Editor of ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2011, NIST Special Publication 500-290 Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint, Facial & Other Biometric Information and as the inaugural chair of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) Standards Board (ASB) Friction Ridge Consensus Body, of which we remain an active member. Other memberships include the Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC) Facial Identification (FI) Subcommittee and the Facial Identification Scientific Working Group (FISWG).
