Saturday was processing day for our meager flock of 16 Cornish Cross birds. Thanks to the incredible help, guidance, and hands-on teaching from Lucky Fields, we were able to learn the entire process from start to finish firsthand.

Right now, everything is strictly for personal consumption, but the experience really solidified our interest in investing in our own equipment so we can fully process our birds ourselves next year. It’s an incredibly valuable skill, and one we both genuinely want to continue learning and developing.
