Does your child love taking photos, telling stories or capturing special moments?
In Digital Photography and Visual Storytelling, students will learn how to create compelling images using composition, lighting, perspective and timing. Through hands-on activities and creative challenges, they’ll explore portrait photography, action shots and visual storytelling while discovering how photos can communicate emotion, ideas and experiences.

At Commencement, Elijah Frederick represented a milestone bigger than one speech.
Elijah is one of 36 students from Veritas Prep Charter School who graduated through STCC’s Early College program.
In his remarks, Elijah brought a mix of humor, gratitude and perspective — including a memorable shoutout to the cash-only Armory Grill.
This fall, he will attend Westfield State University to study political science, with plans to become a lawyer.
