Do you have trouble growing succulents? These sun loving water retentive plants are very dependent on sparse consistent watering. I have noticed that many tend to over water them and not allow enough dry time in between waterings. I have had the best of luck with extremely well drained pots, chunky Bark filled soil, and placing the pot in a place where it will get direct sun with a warming effect especially on the POT as well as the plant. The roots of succulents can be very sensitive to not only a wet environment but, a cold and wet environment. This is where rotting sets in…leaf dropping etc.
