Berries all up at the stand this weekend!

Strawberries, blueberries, grapes and more are happily producing!

Come out and add some to your garden this year!

My gardening style could be described as “lazy” at best. My beds are not picture perfect and oftentimes things get missed or done late. Yet, I still manage to grow a lot of beautiful nursery plants and a lot of food for my family.

Here’s an example of something done late:

The garlic on the left was planted right on time. The bed was well-weeded and freshly topped with compost.

The garlic on the left was forgotten about and planted sometime late. Like really late. Probably 4 months after “perfect” conditions.

Yet here it is, definitely still producing bulbs. It will still provide scapes to harvest this spring and will still produce bulbs this summer.

They won’t be perfect but gardening doesn’t have to be perfect to still be worthwhile.
