LAST CALL:
The Mayo Clinic's patient-centered research project that was funded by Parotid Patient Project is still enrolling patients. This study needs at least 300 participants from the United States.
If you are based in the United States and have gone through parotid treatment, we need to hear about your experiences.
If you have already enrolled and filled out the survey, thank you! If you have not had a chance to participate yet, the time to enroll is now! The study closes on July 31, 2023.
This survey aims to capture both the short-term and long-term effects of surgery, so we need patients who have recently had surgery as well as patients who had surgery quite some time ago to participate to capture this information.
Mayo Clinic researchers are seeking volunteers who have had a “parotidectomy” – a surgery to remove part or all of the parotid gland – to participate in a survey research study. The purpose of the study is to better understand the experiences of patients who have gone through parotid surgery with respect to their surgical outcomes, quality of life, mental health, and social well-being.
