USS Jammers

The USS Jammers finished up their 3rd and final Christmas gig this afternoon at Vancrest of New Carlisle. Santa was there and we had a lot of fun. Happy Holidays everyone!

USS Jammers, one of the variety of activities offered by United Senior Services, meets in the downtown Springfield location for fun with music. We mostly explore classics from rock, country, folk and bluegrass.

All USS members are welcome to join the group, or to ‘sit in’ and jam, or listen and sing along Tuesdays Thursday and/or Saturdays.

We’re happy to be invited to play at a variety of locations and events and our group leader and contact person, Carol Armbrust, is terrific at coordinating our performances.

Sierra Hull Becomes First Female Artist With Her Own Signature Gibson Mandolin Bluegrass phenom Sierra Hull will be the first female artist to have her own signature Gibson mandolin.

The USS Jammers played at Vancrest Urbana for their Valentine's Day Party on February 14. Here are a few pictures of us. Lovers playing love songs for the young at heart.
