I'm excited to share some changes to Backyard Blooms for next year.

My goal has always been to have a work schedule that is flexible enough to be home and available when my children are not in school. As the boys are getting older, I'm finding more value in taking summers off. So, how does that affect Backyard Blooms?

Next year I will be utilizing a large chunk of my cut flower budget to heat our greenhouse over the winter. I'll be focusing more on potted plants and flowers - selling them in the spring only and closing up shop for the summer. I always LOVE visiting local greenhouses with my mom each year, and my goal is to grow some of my favorite flowers and foliage I use each year in window boxes and planters. I'd love to share them with you!
