On Sept. 13, our community will come together at Effingham County High School’s Rebel Field at Bob Griffith Stadium for the Effingham County 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb – Under the Lights.
Firefighters, first responders, supporters, and neighbors from across Southeast Georgia will climb 110 stories in honor of the 343 FDNY firefighters who gave their lives on Sept.11, 2001.
Hosted by Effingham County Fire Rescue and created in partnership with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF), this event ensures our fire heroes are never forgotten.
🕔 On site registration opens at 5 pm
🎤 Opening ceremony begins at 7 pm
🪜 Climb starts at approximately 7:15 pm
💲 Registration: $30 — supports NFFF programs for Fire Hero Families
👟 Athletic gear encouraged
