Finding the right day program for a neurodivergent adult can be difficult. ACA offers intentionally small groups, customized supports to meet you where you are, sensory-friendly activities, and meaningful community experiences. And while every day includes a community component, it's always okay to hang back too. Immediate openings are available based on preferred days and individual support needs.
Private pay and Fairfax-Falls Church CSB Self-Directed Services are accepted.

This 3 minute video, demonstrates that it is typically best to wait until the seizure starts to subside before rolling them to their side. Since I began this with our daughter I have noticed a decrease in bleeding and mouth injury ... and she seems to have less issues eating and drinking now; In the past she would go days without eating or drinking much afterwards. Small changes can have a big impact!
However, do roll them over immediately if you notice:
- vomiting or choking
- breathing difficulty
- immediate danger.
