Groups revitalizing Springfield’s south side focus on green space equity, food access A group of Springfield and Clark County Black-led organizations is collaborating on revitalization efforts for the city’s south side, including efforts to improve green space, food accessibility, housing and business.

August 14th it’s going down on Center street!! Book bags, hygiene supplies, books, water bottles, hair cuts, hair braiding, food and entertainment all together to make an impact here in Springfield!

Bring the entire family out to support our own who are investing into the South Side of Springfield.

Donations for hygiene supplies, tent sponsorships, vendors and community marketing materials are all welcomed and still needed for the event. If you would like to donate send us a message or contact someone involved in the organizations!

Exciting delivery! The Conscious Connect dropped off the "Words on Wheels" bike today. Children and families can find the bike parked in the community room. After searching up to hundreds of books, kids will have the opportunity to read and take home books that they see themselves in. 👧🏾👦🏿🧒🏻👩🏽‍🦱(For FREE!)
