Our hearts go out to Captain Kelley’s family as well as our Law Enforcement family in both the Benton County Sheriff’s Office and Centerton Police Department during this time. Rest easy brother, we have the watch from here.
Our law enforcement family is mourning the loss of a truly remarkable man.
After many years of dedicated service, Chris Kelley, a longtime Deputy Sheriff with the Benton County Sheriff's Office, (Reserve Lieutenant), and Captain with the Centerton Police Department, has passed away.
He was more than a badge and a uniform. He was a respected leader, a trusted mentor, a loyal friend, a devoted husband, and a servant to his community. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He led with integrity, treated people with respect, and earned the admiration of colleagues, friends, and community members alike. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his career and beyond.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who served alongside him during this difficult time.
Thank you for your service, your friendship, and the example you set for so many. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Rest easy, brother. We have the watch from here.

Today, alongside athletes with Special Olympics Arkansas Area 3 we proudly carried the Flame of Hope during the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
This cherished event is truly one of the highlights of our careers for all who participate. Thank you to everyone who honked, waved, and showed support along the route as we made our way to Fayetteville, where the torch was passed on as the Flame of Hope continues its journey to the State Capitol.
