PRESS RELEASE: North Bunnell Hill Closure Scheduled July 8, 2026 - July 10, 2026

North Bunnell Hill Road will be closed from Crown Point Meadows to 9877 North Bunnell Hill Road from Wednesday, July 8th to Friday, 10th from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for ditch repair on the east side of the road.

Motorists traveling north on Bunnell Hill Road will want to detour west on Lytle-Five Points Road to north on Yankee Road to east on Social Row Road to north on Sheehan Road and reverse for southbound traffic.

All work is contingent upon the weather, which may result in an extension of construction time.

We appreciate your patience during this important maintenance project.

Warren County has been issued an Extreme Heat Warning effective until 7/2/2026 at 8:00 PM and will remain in the "Significant Risk" Category throughout the week for extreme heat with Heat Index Temperatures ranging from approximately 103 - 110. I-75 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE from the Ohio Department of Transportation

Starting the week of July 6, major work begins on the War/Mot I-75 Rehabilitation & Lane Addition project!

Here is what you need to know to plan your commute:

Expect nightly closures on northbound I-75 between Lyons Road and Pennyroyal Road as crews prepare the shoulders.

Once shoulder work is done, northbound traffic will shift to the far right lanes. This allows crews to safely install barrier walls and temporary inside pavement, which southbound traffic will switch to in Spring 2027.

This project will completely rehabilitate I-75 in both directions and add a new lane between I-675 and Pennyroyal Road.

Completion is expected to be complete in the fall 2029.
