Happy Monday! It was great being back in the studio with classes after having a fun break visiting my son. The kids started creating autumn still life’s using the beautiful fall leaves and yummy apples from Dave . They were so happy when I told them they could eat the props when they were done…but leave the leaves, ha ha. Private classes focused on their projects, and we had a special visit from Mayor Agenbroad and Carrie Robbins with 45066. On Friday, the teens wanted to walk up to see the mural in its completion. Like any great piece of art, the more you look the more you see. Well, as much as I have looked at it up close for the last 2 weeks, I noticed something new. There are 2 different seasons depicted…winter is on the side depicting a dark time in history. I sent Lula a message about how much we appreciate the thought and meaningful small details that she put into this mural! If you haven’t walked up to it, I highly recommend you do. It is incredible from the road, but you will appreciate it even more up close, especially the masterful painting of her eye.
