This week I had the opportunity to lead the “Why Am I Still Here?” workshop with the Sandusky County Board of DD — and we wanted to share something special…

Here is what the participants had to say (and this is from a 1pm workshop right after everyone had lunch, so you KNOW it's true):

“We matter more than we will ever know.”
“It’s easy to forget your why sometimes.”
“The work we do daily is impactful — and we need that reminder.”
“My ‘why’ doesn’t have to be a giant, miraculous moment.”
“It rooted me back to my beginning and my why.”
“I realized how important every role is.”
“It helped me rethink my story and reflect.”

There was something powerful about watching people reconnect — not just with their work, but with the reason they chose this field in the first place.

That’s what this is about.

Creating space for people to pause, reflect, and remember why they started, who they impacted, and why it still matters.

Grateful for every person in that room who showed up open, honest, and willing to share.

We’ll keep spreading the “why.”

It has been 4 months since our last post! We have had an unbelievable summer serving so many incredible organizations and telling some absolutely world-changing stories! We are so grateful for every person, company and organization that trusts us with their stories!
